Galia Lahav sample dress (March) vs. my actual dress (November)

This is so ridiculous that I’m complaining over something so silly. But I absolutely fell in love with this dress because of the drop waist when I tried it on in the miami flagship store. I’m short and I love the elongating effect it has on my waist. On the left is the dress I tried on in store back in March, and on the right is my dress that finally came in. I had my initial pickup/alteration appointment on Friday and I’ve been reflecting back on the pics and I’m stuck on how different the waist looks, almost like a knock off. What the hell do I do? My wedding is in 67 days and it took 7 months to get to me - this dress was so expensive and a treat to myself and I’m so upset. What do I do?? Do I let it go? Do I bitch about it?
