Potholes/Popped tires on 459 south

My wife popped a tire in a pothole between the Galleria exit and last Hoover exit on 459 south Tuesday night

The officer and tow company said they’ve had several people pop a tire in that location recently.

My question is, have any of you had an issue in that location? I’m planning to call ALDOT today to attempt to recover the loss, and it would be nice to have more stories to share with them. The officer and my insurance company noted they are unlikely to help unless there’s been multiple complaints in the same area. So any input is much appreciated
