Is Coinbase safe?

I have saved around 8k investing on bitcoin over the course of two years working as an elementary teacher. I plan on continuing to DCA but I’m just worried that Coinbase might fail like FTX. 8k may not be a lot but on a teacher salary, it’s a lot for me. Do yall think that Coinbase is relatively safe? I’m just nervous.
