Exhausted

So I’ve been dealing with this issue for about a year now and have had 7 procedures to remove the recurrent Chalazions. It always starts out with a swollen eyelid and then progresses to a bump somewhere in the lid. I’m frustrated because NO amount of warm compresses, hot red light pens, Tee Tree Oil, Omega 3 supplements, and Johnson’s baby shampoo daily to wash eyelids have seemed to help. I even went on a small daily dose of Doxy for prevention, and also received LipiFlow treatment from the Veterans clinic. They have outsourced my care to an eye clinic for the procedures. I am not sure when they do in the office to test for the demodex mites, but when I initially went in, the doctors said that wasn’t the issue. Well fast forward a year, and the doctor said he’s essentially tried everything he can do, so he’s going to try another medication. He’s saying he could potentially be “missing the mites” and it’s worth a try to and prescribed me Xdemvy which is for demodex Blepharitis. The Veterans Clinic denied the script (yay!), but I put it through the CVS specialty pharmacy and it was approved for just a 30 dollar copay as “uninsured.” I receive the drips later this week. I am a keynote speaker at a sales conference this Friday and when I tell you I want nothing to do with speaking in front of people with my eye this way. I’ll keep you all posted about the Xdemvy. Any tips, suggestions are welcomed.
