Why Bachira has no friends

Early on in Blue Lock we learn that despite his bubbly personality, Bachira has a hard time making friends. He blames it on his obsession with soccer/unique play style, but this could be a story from an unreliable (schizophrenic) narrator.

While at Blue Lock he fits right in, which is interesting. What then, is the biggest difference between Blue Lock and the rest of Japan?

Homoeroticism

We see that despite everyone at Blue Lock being a standard deviation gayer than everywhere else, Bachira still sometimes makes characters a little uncomfortable. He’ll grab people where he shouldn’t, or just walk around completely naked, dick and balls flapping in the wind.

My theory is that growing up all the other boys were fine with Bachira’s love of soccer, they just didn’t like all the sexual harassment.

This also explains why he fits in with FC Barcha, since wearing clothes is optional in Spain.
