Master Strikers are not the same as Coaches
Master Strikers are not the same as Coaches.
A Coach is someone who looks at a player with no bias or miscellaneous factors and determines what must be done so that the players mental and physical state reaches its maximum potential. An example of this is obviously Ego.
A Master striker however is someone who has a built-in ideology which they are preach. They don't choose what is correct for their players, but rather make the players bend to what they have been taught and what has worked for them. Every master striker is different. Noa---Logical plays Lavinho---Plays based purely on instinct Chris---Hard work and pure weapon development Snuffy---Defensive, centered around a singular striker Loki---Grooming 15 year olds
Its kinda like every Master striker teaches a different language through which to understand football, while a Coach understands the player individually and helps them succeed in a language they personally choose.
People regularly diss Lavinho and praise Chris, (even though both their teams are languishing at the bottom of the tables) which I find stupid and clearly explains that most of the people think that Chris is a better Coach, even though its his ideology and not his actual "coaching" that most of the Blue lock redditors agree with.
Think of it like this; Nagi would be a much, much worse player if he was with Noa, since Noa thrives on logical plays, something that Nagi don't do. But Reo would be a top threat since his kit and the fact that he has meta sense make him the best fit for Bastard munchen.
Similarly, Reo would struggle to fit Lavinho's ideology since his weapon is literally called "copy", but Nagi would be feasting in Barcha.
Remember, these things are called environments. And its completely possible for a player to choose an environment and fail, not because the environment didn't fit them, but because they didn't fit it.
