Boomer upset over housing prices
so local landlords will regularly post in a local facebook group I am a part of, and there was one today that was for a three bed, two bath townhome in a touristy town in an expensive COL state. To me, a cynical millennial, the price seemed about normal for what you're getting and the area ($3,500/mo), and they wanted first/last month rent and like $500 for a refundable cleaning deposit. Allllllll of the boomers came out of the woodwork to complain about the cost just to move in to the place; mind you, these are the same boomers who complain endlessly about the unhoused folks and refuse to understand that those two issues are very, very linked.
Like yes. Housing is stupidly unaffordable, thanks in large part to you, Boomers.
