Ranked Brawl Stars.

I'm an active Brawl Stars player and over the last few seasons I've reached advanced ranks like Legendary and Master. However, this season, the ranked mode experience has been frustrating due to matchmaking issues.

Even at high ranks, I continue to be placed with allies who don't have enough skill to compete at that level. Meanwhile, adversaries are generally more coordinated and outperforming. This takes away the purpose of the 3v3 mode, which is supposed to be based on teamwork.

Another point that makes ranked exhausting is the unbalanced score. When I win, I only receive 20 points, but in defeats I end up losing much more. It's frustrating to know that, even if I play well, the performance of my allies can ruin the game and compromise my progress. To make matters worse, even when I receive notifications that reported players have been punished, it doesn't change the fact that my points have been lost and that I will have to get them back anyway.

I believe that adjustments to the system could solve most of these problems. One idea would be to implement a "points shield" for players who have been harmed by underperforming allies. This system could protect the points of those who demonstrated good performance, even in a defeat. Furthermore, if a player is identified as responsible for the defeat (for example, by dying excessively or not contributing), the others could receive partial compensation in points.

Finally, matchmaking could be more rigorous in advanced ranks, prioritizing similar skills rather than just score. This would help ensure more balanced and fair matches.
