Supercell just scammed me out of 2800 gems

Hey reddit, though I'm not a very active reddit user, I am an active BS player. I thought I'd come on here and share my situation.

Basically, yesterday (Jan 4), my phone was undergoing an update, yet I really wanted to play BS. I logged into my supercell ID on my younger brother's tablet, and played from there. My younger brother, midway through the day, switched back to his BS account and played for a little. Since he is quite young, before purchasing anything on the brawl stars app he must request to buy an offer before he can get it. This request must be approved by one of his parents. He, on HIS brawl stars account, requested to purchase the brawl pass ($7.45 USD). After he requested to buy this, i switched back to my supercell ID on the tablet so I could continue playing. While I was using his tablet on my account, his father approved the purchase request. However, instead of the brawlpass reward going to my brother's account, it went to mine. I'm assuming this is because I was using his tablet, which somehow made the reward go to my account and not his. Since I already had the brawlpass, supercell decided to give me a compensation reward of 80 gems, which is about $4.99 USD. In case you couldn't tell, 80 gems isn't worth the $7.45 that the brawl pass is. Obviously, I was upset by this, so I explained the situation to Google play, since I trust them a good bit more than Supercell, and requested a refund. Today (Jan 5), I logged on my account to see this. I'm not sure what went wrong, but Supercell decided to take 2800 gems out of my account, accompanied by the message above. As for my brother's account, no changes were made, as this whole thing doesn't relate to his account.

I'm guessing that in Supercell's eyes, I bought the brawlpass, already had it, so they gave me 80 gems. Then, I requested to refund this purchase, which they, then, decided to remove 2800 gems from my account? This makes absolutely no sense. Im not sure how they arrived at the conclusion to remove that amount of gems from my account. Honestly I'm pretty upset by this whole thing since I've poured countless hours into this game and progressing without gems is very much possible, just slightly slower/more annoying.

So, yeah. I just wanted to share my situation and frustration. I doubt I'll be able to fix this since Supercell's support is pretty hard to deal with.
