Interview request: Women who have done burlesque

Hello there Burlesque performers. Are there any performers who would like to talk about their career/work?

I run a popular website about pin-up culture. One of the areas that I focus on is telling the history or burlesque/stripping.

I would like to interview women who have worked in the industry for a while. Ideally I would like to interview women who have retired a long time ago and can speak about what the work was like decades in the past. What was the culture? What was the good and bad points? What did you enjoy, what did you want changed?

I don't want the interview to be too heavy, but I would like to know about your performance, how you got the job, what touring was like, your costumes, and so on.

If you still have publicity photographs of your dance days I would like to feature those as well.

The perfect interviewee:

-- someone that worked during the 1950s-2000s

-- can answer questions via email

-- has some cheesecake photos of their publicity shots, photos of clubs they performed at, everyday work photos

-- can speak about the mindset, culture, industry, their personal journey, pros/cons

I can pay $30 for your interview time and participation/materials.

Thanks for reading.
