Did anyone else notice this? 🤔🤔
Did anyone else noticed that in cdramas they take the romance of the main and side characters so seriously there is so much focus and it takes up so much screentime of the drama 🤔 This usually happens in modern and costume idol cdramas, if the main character is doctor or police officer half of the drama would focus on the romance, as if they don't have a job. They spend so much time on romance, dropping everything for romantic plots, that you wonder if they have anything else on their mind besides dating, relationships, and making romance for viewers. It bothers me because there's no realism to the setup, and there's no difference what their profession is, it's all fake and all about romance. I don't get why they don't just make a dating/relationship reality TV.
I appreciate how much effort they put into the romance but sometimes it's so unnecessary. I read somewhere that some of these dramas are catered to viewers who want romance in everything I don't even know. I honestly only came for a Wuxia with fighters and maybe some court politics, and I'm seeing nothing but romance while they do stupid shit to create romantic tension while the world and plot logic burns.
