Who to play as?

First of all, i have no idea about game of thrones. Yet i am really interested in this mod. What start date should i do, and who should i play as? I would prefer a character that isn't really powerful but its goal is to eat everybody. Although as long as it's fun, there's no problem suggesting the most op guy in the mod.
