I watched a YouTube video that explained how both anxious and avoidant people have childhood and adult “blind spots” that they have failed to integrate wholly.
For the anxious, their reason and logic had been distorted, leading to an overuse of emotion to rule their every day life.
For the avoidant, their emotions and feelings had been distorted, leading to an overuse of logic to rule their every day life.
For fearful avoidants, they actually have both of these aspects in their psyche, but it’s a failure to integrate these aspects which causes the “push and pull.”
