Is there anything I can do?
I have an Alaska airlines credit card that I never (rarely) use. Pay the yearly fee and maybe bought a flight or two with it since I got it.
Well, I used it to buy a yearly subscription for something that I forgot about. In December that charge hit and I didn’t know about it because I rarely check the app cuz I don’t use the card. I found out in April after noticing my 800 fico score had dropped to the low 700s. I went in and I paid it off instantly as it was only $70 or so. I’ve gotten my score back up to 740 but still nowhere near where I was and now I’ve been getting denied for credit cards.
I called Bank of America and they said they couldn’t do anything about it because it was a valid charge, but is there anything I can do to get that off my credit?
I obviously messed up not having minimum payments set up but again I didn’t ever use that thing
