Are any businesses out there going to sue Canada Post for damages?
My story: Own a small business. Spent several thousand on a Canada Post Precision Targeter campaign to start on a specific day. The day after I dropped off the flyers, they go on strike and the campaign is in limbo.
The flyers have a time-sensitive offer using a government rebate program that expires 12/31.
All their commercial client phone and email lines are dead. A campaign that should have brought us tens of thousands of dollars in sales has now left us out of pocket.
My intention is to get back the entire cost of the campaign, including printing, and maybe even the lost potential revenue.
Curious who else is in a similar boat with some commercial agreement with them and what avenues you intend to pursue.
