Tips for improvement

Trying to go for a dagger/crit build. Not sure what the best equipment and pets to use would be. I have lots of gems and a ton of keys I’m just waiting for other equipment to be in the limited thing or should I spend my gems another time? I don’t have enough artifacts to upgrade my armor yet (even with downgrading other equipment) but that is the next goal.
