Building a basement armory (window will be addressed). But due to the small area, want the door to open outward to the right. But want hinges on the inside for security.
I know, window inside is less than secure. Thats being removed and bricked over. But let's focus on the door. And keep in mind I have no prior expereince with carpentry beyond making a small crate. In my mind, LH swing door fliipped around would give me a RH outward swing that I want, which it will. However, I want hinges on the inside of the room for security so the pins can't just be punched out. In my mind, I thought that offset hinges would allow an outward swing to have hinges inside. Would appear I toooootally thought of that entirely wrong. So my current question... is there a way to set the hinges on the inside with an outward swing? Or would a temperproof hinge pin set be my only real option to add security with the door swinging outward?
