Spent 30k getting the car fixed instead of selling it for a new one. Am I an idiot? (OC)

Hi guys,

I recently got our old alto fixed and serviced. Spent 30k in total. Some items that were changed, 1. Complete Exhaust (old one was rusted and multiple welding work did not stop it from making a loud noise) 2. Steering parts 3. Front shocks 4. Windscreen 5. Indicator stock and window rollers (as my dog had chewed them up) 5. Basic servicing which comes up to 5-6k

The car is run only 40k kilometres and runs absolutely beautiful now.

However, famiky thinks I should have exchanged this for a new car. Which I did not want to do, cause new cars are super expensive, like a celerio costs 6L upwards.

Am I and idiot or have I done right by this beaut? Also, now that she's reborn, what should I name her?
