Why do so many pubs do only Thai food?

I'm currently having a lunchtime pint in a pub in Central London that does exclusively "authentic Thai cuisine", and on reflection I've been to so many pubs over the last decade or so that only serve Thai. I can't think of any other international cuisines that are exclusively served in pubs - is there any particular reason for this?
