If Devil May Cry 2: Deluxe Remaster happened… what would you like to see?

So this is a follow up post to one I made a couple months ago (Linked Below) now with DMC2 I think there’s more room to fiddle with and change things from the original to make a better overall experience. Again the goal isn’t really to turn DMC2 into later entries because this is a remaster not a remake so the goal is to tweak and improve on what is already there in 2. A lot of this was also inspired by the DMC2 Definitive Edition mod (Linked Below)

Improvements To Gameplay! 1. Faster Attack Speeds - Just to help the game feel less stiff and sluggish 2. More weight to Attacks - Better sound design. 3. Move Lists - Base DMC2 doesn’t have any movelists at all so it’s impossible to know how to pull off different combos strings, small fix that should have been mandatory. 4. Different Combos Per Weapon - Repurpose the games different combos and attacks to each weapon, give them all more purpose. (See DMC2:DE) 5. Add more Gun/Sword combos - Cause they are genuienly cool. 6. On the Fly Sword Switching - Now with each weapon having a purpose. 7. On the fly Ammulet switching - takes the place of the style system in 3-5 8. Rework Water Levels - Make them play like regular combat sections just floatier, kinda like what Bayonetta does. 9. Rebalanced Enemies - Make them more aggressive and less suseptible to being shot constantly. 10. Simplified Campaign Structure - Considering that Dante & Lucia already share too many stages in DMC2. I’d rather they just made 1 linear Campaign where you jump back and forth between both characters, depending on what the story calls for and once you’ve complete the story, you can replay any stage as both characters on that difficulty.

Quality of life improvements 1. Juke Box - Having the option to select any battle theme from the series would be awesome. 2. The Void - Need somewhere to practice, should be mandatory going forward. 3. Collectables Checklist - Just so you know if you’ve found everything on a certain level. 4. New Alternate Costumes - Would be cool to see Dante’s different costumes across the series, but would also be cool to get the beta DMC2 Dante outfit that appeared in a few teasers. For Lucia would be cool to see her get some additional costumes that represent other characters from the series like, Lady, Kyrie, Nico and maybe even Kat, and for Trish her Gloria costume and DMC Anime Jacket look.

Just a fun idea to get the creative juices going, what would everyone else like to see?
