Need some advice for a engineering graduate
I'm 23 as of now. Completed my mechanical engineering degree in 2021. I am stuck in my career and looking for advice.
A little background : I took science group in my 12th. Never know anything about accounting. I planned to do an MBA after graduation but it's costly and I don't I will get into good school. Now I'm in need of an additional degree and I don't want to do my master's in engineering. So I'm looking for other options and I came across CA.
From a little research, I found out that someone can become CA after graduation. I have like few questions ? Please give your suggestions.
- If I were to pursue ca with my background, where should I start ?
- Can I clear the exams with self coaching or online coaching ?( I'm an average student )
- Roughly, how much money would I be spending to get ca degree and how long will it take ?
- Do I need to work as as intern to get graduated or just need to clear the exams ?
- Can I have extra time to prepare for Bank exams while studying for CA ?
- Do you guys know any other similar courses like ca can I do ?
- Will there be any jobs available in the future ?
Your advice will be so much helpful in my career. As you can see I already have two year gap on my resume. Please help me
Thank you for your suggestions in advance.
