I have bought my first house! Can you recommend any specific cost-saving tips that may or may not be Chattanooga specific?
The sellers have accepted the counter offer on a home, so assuming this inspection goes okay (I believe it will), this will officially be my first house! I have saved so much money for almost 10 years now, and I'm really excited. I am living in the Red Bank area (but address is still Chattanooga).
However, I tend to be a frugal person and want to invest in things that will save me money long term. I have heard small tips like "invest in LED lightbulbs to save electricity over time" and that had me wondering all the ways I could continue to save money (in relation to the owning a home).
I also though there may be some Chattanooga specific ones I could be missing. This could be due to weather-related issues or something else.
Thanks for helping me with any advice you have. I am very excited!!!
