Fixing tape deck and radio
Desperately needing to fix tape deck and radio!!
Stereo switches to tape but the tape won’t go all the way in and click into the deck. I wanted a stock stereo so bad and refuse to replace it with something new, no matter what anyone says.
Radio is just static BUT the radio has come through a couple times very randomly. Went away if I turned the car off. I’ll check here and there when I remember and haven’t gotten it in awhile. Assuming it would be the wire to the antenna or the antenna itself.
Looking for anyone who has any knowledge/videos/books/subs on getting the stereo out and what I need to look for or do. Everything is almost 30 yrs old and the same guy had it for the whole time. So I’m sure the tape deck needs some parts changed and a good cleaning. Really would love to at the very least get the radio working.
