What happened to the meat?

As someone who used to be an avid Chipotle regular just a couple years ago, what in the world has happened to the meat quality? I used to love how lean and fresh their meat was but now it’s full of so much fat that I usually end up talking half of it off. The meat just doesn’t taste the same anymore either. The steak in particular has gotten pretty bad. I tried the Carne Asada because I remember really liking it a couple years back but it also has the same problem. I now only go if they offer the “Freepotle” since I’m flipping a coin every time I go to see if the meat is edible.

Seriously though, what happened? Did Chipotle get a new meat supplier? I keep longing for that fresh, lean, flavorful chipotle taste, but I can’t seem to get it anymore.
