Statin success story
My LDL lowered from 150 to 59 mg/dl after 8 weeks on rosuvastatin (20mg)!
Prior to taking the medication, I was already eating pretty clean. I was exercising a lot. My avereage daily saturated fat was 10-12 mg. I ate very little processed food or refined sugar. There was room to improve, but I felt like I was pretty much at the limit of where I could improve diet and exercise. My LDL had decreased some, but at 150 it was still way too high.
So, I got on rosuvastatin 20mg and, while keeping up with my relatively clean eating and exercise, it's now a LOT better!
