How to unstick this glass jar?

Hello! I'm in the process of cleaning out my mom's room (she died last July), and I've gotten to her bookshelf. On top, she had a lot of seashells and there is a glass vase full of shells that is absolutely stuck to the shelf! I have no idea what it is, but if I had to guess, I think it's dried up oil from a Bath and Body Works wallflower. She was forever plugging them in and sitting them around upside down. But really it could be anything, she was a pack rat and... not the neatest.

I've tried:

• Goo Gone
• Vinegar
• Clorox Spray (that's why the paint is gone in one area)
• Boiled water

It 's STILL stuck! I'm afraid to try to pry it since it's glass and I don't want to make it worse to get off by breaking it. I've tried chipping lightly around the edges a bit also.

Any tips that might help?
