Your best Theater experience
Hey everyone,
Wishing you all a great week ahead!
What’s the best theater experience you’ve ever had while watching a movie? It doesn’t matter when the movie was released.
For me, it was back in December 2013, when I was in 11th grade. I watched Drishyam on its first day. I didn’t have much hope going in since the previous movies by actor wasn’t great. Still, I decided to give it a try.
The theater was nearly empty, with only about 30–50 people. To be honest, I didn’t enjoy the first half much. I thought, Here we go, another disaster. But I had to take my words back after the second half. It turned out to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller! I couldn’t even sit properly—it was that gripping.
The second half was tightly packed with thrilling moments, unlike anything I had seen before. The few people in the theater were clapping after almost every scene, and by the end, we even gave a standing ovation.
When I left the theater, I was so blown away that I decided to come back the next day to watch it again. But to my surprise, I couldn’t even step inside the theater compound. It was packed, and scalpers were selling ₹50 tickets for ₹250!
I couldn’t afford the inflated price, so I went back the next morning. After standing in a long queue for 2–3 hours, I finally managed to get a ticket. It was worth every second of the wait.
