Nobushi Theoreticals
Let's say Ubisoft makes Nobushi's "Cobra Strike" and "Sidewinder Form" unblockable. This allows for very basic, albeit not very good, forms of unblockable attacks for her.
Does this improve her offense? Both moves are extremely telegraphed, but if they were unblockable, they MIGHT be able to trick an opponent into trying to parry on the wrong timing. However, as they are both non-feintable dodge attacks, I wonder, would this even make a difference?
On the other hand, let's say that Ubisoft chooses a different route. They make her Hidden Stance attacks unblockable. This means that all attacks that come from hidden stance will have the potential to be their own mix-up, effectively turning her Hidden Stance into a discount Qi-Stance.
Where does she stand with THIS change? Hidden stance is a great defensive tool, but Nobushi's extremely telegraphed attacks make it not ideal for offense, other than the kick.
Making her attacks from Hidden Stance unblockable would allow her to initiate soft offense, while also taking advantage of fer long range attacks to safely access the stance.
Just some things I thought about. Wondered if either of these could make her a better hero.
