Can i just throw chicken bones in soup while simmering to give it more flavor ?
I see alot of people make there own stock with bones which got me curious. Can i just throw some bones in with the soup/stock i got from the store to give it extra flavor ?
Id rather not make my own stock since it take 6+ hours. But throwing away the bones that come with bone in thighs makes me sad.
If thats not how it works let me know but id love to get what I can out of them
Edit: thanks every one it seems like i have my answer. Ill simmer them for at least an hour in the broth before moving forward in the recipe.
