Should I try I was a teenage exocolonist?

I’ve seen this recommended every now and then, and it’s on sale on the US eshop for $12.49. I don’t usually go for visual novels as I tend to like action rpgs but I have enjoyed them in the past and also really love a good story/narrative. About how many hours would you say each playthrough is? I understand that there are multiple endings too.
