I've registered to bluesky to check the crypto community there and I found: Nothing

Hi everyone! I'd like to discuss the current state of Crypto and it's relation to the temporary political landscape. Because I'm concerned of the fact, that Crypto seems to generally evolve into a right wing thing, with the very prominent Trump/Musk movements at the front.

My headline statement is not entirely true. Because I found crypto to be discussed on bluesky, but only (!) the shady perspectives, how it is "all a scam", and how especially the MAGAs pushing it, so it provokes a generally rejecting sentiment within bluesky's liberal oriented userbase.

I think it's concerning how crypto evolves into a political tool supported by the one side while rejected by the other, as I feel totally not attached to and represented by right wing (while having strong issues with the liberal side of things as well honestly), and I hope the concept of decentralised finance will come out as more universal than that, just because of it's disrupting features beyond all political belief systems.

How do you guys see it? Will crypto come out to be owned by the reds? And what can be done to prevent that?
