What do you think is this worlds afterlife?

Take teh ascending ritual. Does the belief in the afterlife trait mean you go to "heaven" when ascending, unlike being fed to some eldritch monster without it?

I am pretty much just asking if you think ascending with the belief in the afterlife trait is not a bad thing. I mean you are still killing somebody, if they are about to die anyway, then it would be more like, to quote Good Omens, "DON'T THINK OF IT AS DYING, JUST THINK OF IT AS LEAVING EARLY TO AVOID THE RUSH"
