Bully by Penelope Douglas

⚠️: Personal Opinion.

I read this book back in November 2023. And I gave it 2/5 stars. But there's one thing I can't forget about this book, which is lack of genuine love. None of Jared's actions portrayed genuine love towards Tate. (to me).

I don't understand how he slept with "other girls" despite "loving" Tate. How does the thought of bullying a person you "love" come to your mind? It could be excused if they weren't in love or if he had genuine hatred for her.

But you claim to "love" someone you bully? And also go ahead and sleep with other people?

And this is a problem in almost all of Penelope's books. I feel she solves most of the issues between the protagonists using "smut."
