Hiring a a temporary dentist

For the guys and girls who own their offices, when hiring a temp to cover you while you’re away, how do you guys typically manage the PPO credentialing ? Are temps able to see and treat your PPO patients when they’re not credentialed with the said PPO?

Also is there anything the temp needs to adjust on their malpractice policy before stepping into the temp position?
