Indian wedding with bridal party !?!

I m someone who always used to adore Indian traditional wedding rituals and their meaning and sanctity. However I was always very attracted to the wester concept of bridesmaids and groomsmen. Being the eldest of a close knit group of cousins I always thought to have them in my 'bridal party'. When I was planning my wedding I was able to materialise these dreams. Once we settled on a color scheme, I got the dresses for my cousins customised along with matching accessories (everything was a gift from us to them for being a special part of our wedding). Everyone was happily on board and it made for some of the most amazing memories from our wedding ❤️
