Rita is so annoying

I’m mid way through season 3, why does Rita act all perfect like she’s such a great catch she’s a divorced widow with two kids living in a house owned by her deceased deadbeat ex husband, and she gets all annoyed at Dexter whenever he does something wrong like does she not realise she’s punching above her weight heavily.
