VENT: GCASH WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
Please allow me to vent regarding Gcash NON-EXISTENT Customer service.
My phone got stolen a month ago (June). I suspended my Gcash account as it was used for fraudent activity. Days after everything settled down, I tried to recover it via Gigi. I made a ticket.
Weeks. Wala pa din. Thinking that maybe hindi nagpush through yung convo, I made another. In total, I made 3 tickets for just trying to recover my account plus 3-ish for the fraud (the Fraud was through lazada). They only responded tail end of June. Saying that they will consolidate all concerns in one ticket. Ayun lang. Walang progress walang usad. Nakailang request na ng update via email pati sa website. Pero sige push, I waited.
Come today (July 1), when they were so active (siguro kasi nirate ko na sila via Gigi ng mababa), turns out, sa buong buwan na pag aantay ko at pagfofollow up ko ang naasikaso lang nila is the unlinking of my Lazada to my Gcash. Ayun lang.
So technically, umabot ng isang buwan yung pag unlink ni Gcash kay Lazada... when in fact na unlink at na freeze ko na Lazada ko first week of June pa lang.
To think that they are the most commonly used Digital wallet, napakahirap nilang contact-in.
Pag nacompromise yung Gcash mo, wala na. Babye na. Walang hotline (all of their numbers are not working). Walang offices. Okay sana kung katulad ng ibang digibank na superactive yung hotline ans CSR. Sakanila medieval na ticket na pagong kung umusad.
Nakakafrustrate. Kaya people, I think it's time we explore alternatives... ang hirap kung dependent lahat kay Gcash. They are benefiting and earning from us pero pagkailangan natin sila, napakahirap kausapin.
I am currently explore alternative digiwallet, if you can all recommend? I'm still exploring Maya. Wala pa akong Gotyme but will try to check it out.
