DimensionLand Theme Park: Where would you beeline the moment the park opens?
The other day, my daughter and I were chatting about Universal Studios vs Disneyland, and the idea of a Dimension 20 theme park popped into my head. Imagining what it might look like gave me a cackle, so I'm curious what unhinged ideas other fans might have!
The year is 2045. Dropout dominates the media landscape, raking in trillions in annual revenue. In a nod to the rumors about Walt Disney having been cryogenically frozen, media mogul Sam Reich has his head and consciousness preserved in a jar mounted on a robot, Futurama-style, so that he and his billions can live forever. The new DimensionLand theme park has opened (at 3 am, in Los Angeles) to rave reviews. Obviously, the worlds, rides, and attractions are themed around Dimension 20 seasons, and favorite characters roam the park, signing autographs!
You've just scanned your ticket and entered the main plaza -- wearing a carefully selected DropoutBounding outfit, of course. You open up the park map. Where do you go first? What rides are you most excited for? Do you make a reservation for the Horse Princess breakfast, where Intrepid Heroes impersonators will make their way around the room and greet every table? What restaurants and snacks are you looking forward to trying? What merchandise will you buy at the gift shops? Do you have plans to stake out an early seat for the parade and fireworks?
