Was Volition a prominent skill for everyone, or just some playthroughs?
I just recently finished my first playthrough, and there's so many little things to notice about the game. But one thing in particular stood out to me, and I'm not sure if it's by design or just the way my skill tree happened to play out.
I felt like, while all the other skills Harry has jumped in and out of the spotlight at different rates depending on how many points I'd dumped into them, Volition specifically was chiming in all the time. Sure, I did have a lot of points put into it by the end of the game, but I don't think it ever exceeded conceptualization, and Volition played a much more important role in Harry's head than that one.
More specifically, I feel like Volition felt more like its own character, as opposed to a skill or perspective. Like it was chiming in on its own, inserting itself into the wider story (most noticeably during THAT moment with Klassje, but there were others like it.)
Now, I was playing a Good Sorry Cop that never drank or did drugs, so it's very possible that my playstyle just naturally lent itself to volition's input. But I wonder, did Volition feel similarly 'special' to people who did different playthroughs? Or did other skills take a similar prominence?
