Total newbie help for upcoming toddler trip to Disneyland
Hi folks,
I'm excited to be going back Disneyland for the first time in several decades with my 3 year old in early February. However, I'm totally overwhelmed on how to make good plans. We have hotel (Disneyland hotel) and park reservations (2 days in Disneyland, 1 in DCA). We check in the day before our first park day and were planning on using that afternoon to see the Downtown Disney area.
I was hoping to use the Genie 'plan my day' feature, but it seems like that only works closer to my actual trip? My park reservations aren't appearing alongside the plans in the Disneyland app or on https://disneyland.disney.go.com/plan/. We bought the Lightning lane multipass already.
Can anyone suggest how to go about planning more details? The toddler is ~36 inches tall and relatively picky. She's already a fan of the main Mickey character group, Nemo, and Frozen. (We're working on broadening her character recognition before we get down there.) I assume a character dining experience is the right way to go? Any other ways to break this down into more manageable chunks?
The adults will be wearing comfortable shoes and we're bringing our own stroller. What other key details am I missing? Any and all assistance is very appreciated.
