DAE find earphones uncomfortable?

Maybe I've just got weird ears, but I find pretty much all earphones I've ever tried, weird feeling or awkward in my ears. They rarely stay in comfortably or at all and the general sound quality isn't all that great either, cheap or on the pricey side.

I find the earphones with the soft, almost foamy tips to be the most comfortable feeling in my ears but they fall out the easiest. Ones that stay in better, tend to feel uncomfortable or even cause soreness after a wile.

I don't tend to wear any in public, I just don't listen to things instead, or go on any handheld device whilst out and about.

That being said, headphones for me will always be where it's at
