To any Dominican morenos/morenas that were raised in the U.S that are living out of the North East or Central/SouthFlorida.

Are you currently facing some sort of identity crises since ( I'm assuming) you left from a strong Dominican community in the NE or S/Central Florida? I was born in the Bronx and now currently living in the DMV where there's a bunch of Mexicans and Central Americans. I come off Americanized where people will assume that I'm AA but I can switch real quickly to my Dominican side since I can speak and defend my self in spanish. I've experienced racism from those latinos (while them assuming I'm not Dominican) and the whites. The Africans here keep it within their group and kiss the white folks add. The AAs here are a hit and miss but I don't really get along with them like I do up in the NE. But those central americans are racist AF, they love our musics but they don't fuck with us "negrotes o mayates"...
