Just to make things clear.
So basically doordash is a delivery app that benefits everyone except for the drivers. Individual businesses/restaurants make millions in profit by providing delivery service to their customers without having to hire and pay salary to full time delivery staff. Doordash itself makes billions in profits by getting huge percentage cuts from each restaurant/store. When it comes to the people who actually do the job, over 90% of them barely make minimum wage and out of that minumum wage they pay for their own gas, wear and tear and taxes, so in a lot of cases doordash drivers are making half the national minimum wage after paying for all expenses out of pocket. Doordash and the already rich businesses make millions by exploiting the drivers and treating them like punching bags. This is the gist of how this industry operates. Did I miss anything?
