What are drugs that can change your perspective of life and why?

I’ve always been curious about this topic because I’ve heard so many fascinating stories about the profound effects that certain drugs can have on a person’s perception, mindset, and overall outlook on life. People describe experiences that range from deeply introspective and philosophical to completely mind-bending and surreal, sometimes even feeling like they’ve gained a new understanding of existence itself. I find it intriguing how substances can seemingly unlock different layers of consciousness or alter the way we process reality.

Personally, my only real experience with this kind of thing was the first time I tried weed. I remember seeing intricate fractal patterns forming in my mind, almost like they were pulsing and shifting in ways I had never imagined before. It felt like my imagination had been supercharged, allowing me to vividly picture entire scenes and concepts with incredible clarity. The experience made me wonder—if something as common as weed could do that, what kind of perspective-shifting effects do other substances have? How do they interact with the brain to create such unique and often life-changing experiences?
