Shokz OpenFit 2 vs JBL SoundGear Sense Hybrid?

Hi everyone. I just ordered the Shokz OpenFit 2 and am kind of disappointed in the sound quality.

To be fair, this is the first pair of open-ear earbuds I’ve ever tried, so I don’t have much to compare it to sound quality wise from other brands and models. I’m coming from AirPod Pros that just do not stay in my ears and eventually make my ears hurt after a couple hours wear, but the sound quality is decent and that’s what I’m comparing these new OpenFit2 earbuds to.

I’m also looking at the JBL SoundGear Sense Hybrid because of people’s reviews saying the sound quality is good, but I’m conflicted.

Any thoughts on the OpenFit2 or JBL ones?

Edit: my boyfriend messed with the EQ settings so it definitely sounds better now. Still curious on people’s thoughts :)
