Do not use Skip the depot.

Figured I'd try that skip the depot app. Set up an account and a pick up. Ended up getting a total of 8 emails for my pickup. Add a photo, emailed. Driver running early, emailed. Driver about to show, email. Driver showed up, email. Nowhere was it listed how much they take, in fact only a range of percentage was shown. Seemed a little scummy, but I'm stupid sometimes. So I went through with the pickup. Got an email again this morning with my total. 248 items under 1l and 42 over 1l. 248 at $0.10 per is $24.80 and 42 at $0.25 per is $10.50. With a total of $35.30. With my share being $24.71. So they took 30% flat out. Fine. They took the max range stated. Scummy but not unheard of. Well guess what? Can't get paid out if it's less than $25. Phone number online leads to someone's personal voicemail, which is full. So I'm s.o.l for my money because I sure won't be using this company again, and I'll be sure to share my experience with anyone that mentions this scam company.

Edit- I googled Edmonton bottle pickup and went to the app store. I never used the website. I made a new account on the app and set everything up on the app. I guess I should have fully researched the company first, checked out all their FAQ's, and searched for current customers to get their testimonials prior to installing and using their app so I don't get flamed on the internet.
