Stuck at roundtable and loosing my runes

Hello, walking around in roundtable, I jump into a room and the moment I jumped an invader comes and kill me all the time.. the thing that I have gather 8k runes and it seems that I can't get them back.. I always lose to that guy. What am I suppose to do? I was gathering these runes one by one..
