Buying advice for my 10 year old (hoverboard)
I saw some conversations about hoverboards, so I hope it’s okay for me to ask here.
My daughter had a Swagway for 5 years and it’s on its last legs, shuddering, busted fenders, but it generally still works. For Christmas we got her a new hoverboard l, the Gotrax NOVA. This new hoverboard only lasts about 25 minutes before blinking for a recharge whereas that old, used Swagway can go weeks between recharges and still last hours.
Is there a hoverboard that’s under $200 that can travel ~10 miles on a charge that won’t burn my house down? We have to send this Gotrax back because she’s still using the old one instead of the brand new one (despite being embarrassed by the old-n-busted…).
Swagway doesn’t seem to be in business anymore, fwiw.
