Is the Mandalay a good explorer?

I'll start by saying that I am willing to spend some money on ARX to get the stock Mandalay. I don't like pre-fitted stuff.

I like the way it looks (kinda reminds me of the Milano from GotG), but I just want to know how it fares against the big boy Anaconda and the DBX that I already have.

I want it to be a purely dedicated exploration vehicle, so from experience or from word of mouth, how does it fare?
