Had my Ember 2 14 oz ~3 years now

I bought this because I am a little baby, and I hate my coffee being outside of a tight range. What this generally requires, therefore, is constant (I mean every 3-5 minutes) reheating of a ceramic mug in the microwave. Vacuum insulated coffee cups are great but release heat out the top. This is mitigated with a lid, but only a savage drinks from a lidded coffee mug while at home.

Therefore, we have the esoteric need for a self-heating mug. I purchased this from Costco for $99 a few years back and have put maybe 1000 mugs of coffee through it (I don't use it for all I drink). I went with the 14 ounce, which is enough barely for a 12 oz Keurig coffee with some creamer or modest milk.

I can honestly say I've had absolutely no issues with this. I am careful to never hit the insides with a metal utensil and of course never in the dish washer. Battery life is enough for one slow casual cup or two cups in the morning first thing (when I drink faster). So maybe it's 40 min? Not entirely sure, but it's sufficient.

I had high hopes for this when I bought it, and I've absolutely not regretted it. And no, I'm not paid by Ember, but this is just a damn fine little gadget. I use iOS.
